A company that develops and supports software for consumer reports and background checks has admitted to exposing thousands of people’s information to an unknown hacker. Imag-I-Nation Technologies (not to be confused with the chipmaker of the same name) said that in November of last year, someone was able to access a database containing records its stores for its consumer reports service.
